The Planning Phase

Paul and I will be flying from New York City to Amman, Jordan in 1 week and 1 day to start our Bar Trip a.k.a. the trip we are taking to recover from the Test-That-Must-Not-Be-Named. For me, the Bar Trip "planning phase" started immediately after I got my first law school acceptance letter. And at at least one point in the last 3 years, I have "planned" to visit all the continents. In May, Paul and I finally narrowed the options and decided to visit Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey. So far we booked a tour and Nile Cruise in Egypt, and flights into Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey...and that's about it (after my 3 years of "planning"). Obviously, the excitement of traveling to strange and foreign lands was not enough without the thrill of last minute bookings. So in the next 1 week and 1 day, we need to book hotels, tours, and transportation in Jordan -- our first stop. Egypt's set, and we'll figure out Turkey later... And in a few weeks (or months) we'll decide whether or not to book a flight back to New York. Stay tuned.
